From www.perezhilton.com:
Good news for director James Cameron. Despite a shiteous trailer, his latest flick Avatar, is going to be a pretty huge hit.
We mentioned last week that a website went live to handle requests for a free 15-minute preview screening of the flick. But unfortunately for fans, the site crashed for some time due to the demand.
Now, in a surprising move, advanced tickets for Avatar have already gone on sale.
And the movie doesn’t even open until December 18th!!!!!!
Tickets for select midnight showings in about 50 AMC Imax theaters have gone on sale. And according to online ticketing companies, as of yesterday, ticket sales have been “healthy for the limited midnight runs.”
Will U be booking this far in advance to watch the flick?
Can’t wait for this, even though Perez Hilton didn’t like the trailer, I thought it looked amazing! In answer to Perez’s question, Yes I will be buying tickets as far in advance as I can!!!

I went to see Avenue Q with my Dad last night, for the second time, and it was just as good as the first time, if not bettter!
I decided to play my ‘Im a tour guide give me some free tickets’ card and I managed to get top price tickets for £20, GOOD TIMES! Having moved fromthe Wyndhams Theatre to the Gielgud Theatre it is still pulling in big crowds and for a Wednesday night it was suprisingly full. The theatre is beautiful, if not a little confusing as the Dress Circle is on street level, the stalls being underground. Our seats were great, offering a clear view of the stage with no big-heads in the way.

After last nights result, my excitement for the Premiership is back on! (I’m a Villa fan in case you hadnt guessed) So I thought I would predict how the League table will look at the end of the year, comment and let me know what you think:
1. Arsenal
2. Man Utd
3. Chelsea
4. Aston Villa
5. Liverpool
6. Man City
7. Tottenham
8. Everton
9. West Ham
10. Bolton
11. Portsmouth
12. Sunderland
13. Wigan Athletic
14. Fulham
15. Hull
16. Burnley
17. Stoke
18. Blackburn
19. Wolves
20. Birmingham
As you can see it may be a bit bias, but I think it is pretty accurate!

You lucky swine you! You have stumbled upon the first ever My Music Monday on www.benhewis.com! This is going to be a weekly post that highlights 3 things that I think you should know about in the world of music. If you have something that you think should be in My Music Monday then please email me on ben@benhewis.com.
1. Julian Perretta

For those that have been reading my blog already then you would have read my post early last week about my trip to Julians gig at Bush Hall. I once performed in a pantomime with Julian and he is a top geezer, back then he was into Michael Buble in a big way and performed local gigs with a band called Velvet Kiss. 3 or 4 years later he has been signed by Columbia Record, has supported Mark Ronson & Girls Aloud and we are on the eve of the release of his first album ‘Out of my Head’ which is released on iTunes on the 30th of August and everywhere else on the 31st August. (You can preorder it here – http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/11066216/Out-Of-My-Head/Product.html)
Unfortunately Julian has had to delay the release of his album until the beginning of 2010, however this is due to some exciting goings on in the States. Good luck on your tour Julian! Follow him on twitter: @julianperretta
2. Danyl Johnson

27 year old Teacher Danyl Johnson has taken the X Factor by storm with just his first audition, leading some people to think that the winner of X Factor 2009 has already been found, with some bookies already putting odds as short as 5/2! Keep your eye on this one, I think we will be seeing a lot of him! (You can see his audition here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mzj9z8QDTfU)
3. Nickel Creek

Nickel Creek was an American acoustic music trio. Although the group’s music has roots from bluegrass, the trio describes itself as “progressive acoustic”. This is one of them bands that you have heard of but none of your mates have. Even though they have taken a break from the band to pursue personal interests, you should still check them out! (You can get their best of album here: http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/3250792/Reasons-Why-The-Very-Best/Product.html) My favourite songs are ‘Doubting Thomas’ & ’Spit on a Stranger’. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Remember if there is anything that is not on here that you think should be then email me on ben@benhewis.com

UPDATE (01/11/09): I no longer think Danyl will win this competition, It seems he was only good at singing one song! My votes go to Jamie, Olly & Stacey!
By me anyway!!!! Check out this video of Danyl from last nights show, he has got to be the winner, surely they won’t find anyone better than him!!!

After a terrible last game, England have pulled out all the stops to win the 2009 Ashes! Well done boys, you deserve to go and get truly ratted now!!!
Only thing left is for out national football team to take note of these boy courageous and passionate performance and go out there and show the world how to play football!
Sad to see Freddie Flintoff go, but something’s telling me this isn’t the last we will see of him!
Aug 22nd

According to www.xfactorblog.co.uk the Judge’s have found out who they will be mentoring and it is as follows:
Dannii Minogue – Girls (16-24)
Louis Walsh – Groups
Simon Cowell – 25s and Over
Cheryl Cole – Boys (16-24)
The only thing that I can see wrong with that is that Danni Minogue is still a judge! Simon Cowell is obviously a very clever man, so why has he not realised that there are soooo many other people out there that would MUCH better in that role? Here is my top 3 of who I would like to see take over from Danni Minogue:
1. Sharon Osbourne (Bring her back! She was the life and soul of the show!)
2. Kylie Minogue (Much more successful than her sister)
3. Mel B aka Scary Spice (Great personality and knows what it takes to make it in pop)
Oh well, its still gonna be a great show! Will try and post regularly on all things X!

On Tuesday I took Kayley to see my friend Julian Perretta’s gig at Bush Hall in Shepherds Bush. Having known Julian from performing with him in Pantomime, I was eager to support him and see how he was getting on, and he didn’t dissapoint!

I have watched a few films recently that have suprised me by how good they have been, so I thought that, over the next week, I would write a short review about each of them:

On his latest expedition, Dr. Rick Marshall is sucked into a space-time vortex alongside his research assistant and a redneck survivalist. In this alternate universe, the trio make friends with a primate named Chaka, their only ally in a world full of dinosaurs and other fantastic creatures. – www.imdb.com
