Me, Myself and Ibuprofen!
Nov 7th
So we have been dazzled once more, here is my (very concise) review:
Stacey, Son of a Preacher Man: Erm, IMO the worst of her performances, to far out of her comfort zone. Did look good though. Hewis Rating:

Olly, Twist & Shout: Disagree with Louis, fantastic song, from a great film, with superb dancing, and most importantly of all, fantastically performed by Olly! Who by the way is now my favourite. Hewis Rating:

Lloyd, Stand by Me: I agree with Louis & Simon, he is way out of his depth, has to be the one to go this week. Hewis Rating:

Jamie, Crying: Ahhhh Louis makes me angry with his little rule book, the song was from a film, who cares if no one has heard of it. Saying that, it was my least favourite of his performances, it showed that he doesn’t have a strong voice. He should stick to being the rocker, which is what he does best. Hewis Rating:

Lucie, This is me: Didn’t know the song, and didn’t like it. I was dissapointed that she didn’t sing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ or ‘I will always love you’, which from her intial audition we know she can sing, and well. Saying that, the girl done good, in a disney-good type way. We saw more of her personality tonight than we have in all of the other shows put together. Although did we see a bit of Stacey in her comments afterwards? Hewis Rating:

Danyl, Purple Rain: For some reason I didn’t want to like his performance, but I did. I’m not sure I like his singing style, and there is still an unlikability about this guy, but his performance was good (although not Ruth Lorenzo good). A couple of things confused me, why hand in the pocket? Why poppy on his trousers and not on his chest, to me that is slightly disrespectful. And why does he look like a completely different person when he smiles? But all in all, this was one of his best performances. Hewis Rating:

Jedward, Ghostbusters: I HATE to say it, but it was one of the most entertaining performances of the night. They put a smile on my face, and that is more than what Lloyd does! Hewis Rating:

Joe, Circle of Life: When I heard this song choice, I thought, oh sh*t this is gonna be the cheesiest performance so far, but somehow it wasn’t. What it was, was a brilliant vocal performance, with great backing, and brilliant dancing. Along with Olly this was my favourite performance of the night. Hewis Rating:

Well, what a show! I was very dissapointed when I saw the song list, missing out songs like ‘I don’t wanna miss a thing’, ‘I will always love you’ etc etc was ridiculous. However, there was some fantastic performances tonight, including Olly & Joe.
It is hard to predict who will accompany Lloyd in the bottom two, somehow I don’t think it will be Jedward, and if I had to choose, I would say it would be Jamie, although I don’t think he deserves to be in the bottom two.
Looking forward to tomorrows results show, with performances from Leona Lewis & Black Eyed Peas!
