Me, Myself and Ibuprofen!

Not according to this post on yahoo.co.uk:
The ‘I Will Always Love You’ singer still thinks about taking crack cocaine and marijuana – the substances she was addicted to when she was married to singer Bobby Brown – but turns to God when she feels tempted.
She told US TV host Oprah Winfrey in the second part of a tell-all interview: “Don’t think I don’t have desires for it. It takes me a minute to cleanse. I have to pray it away.”
She added: “I take things one day at a time. If I get weak, I know who I can turn to. I know God loves me.”
Whitney did admit she still sometimes drinks alcohol, but is now completely free from drugs.
The 46-year-old star also revealed it was her faith that helped her finally make the decision to leave 40-year-old Bobby – who confessed he had cheated on his wife in his autobiography ‘Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But’ – in 2006.
She told him she was going out “for sugar and milk”, but instead boarded a private jet from Atlanta to California, to make a fresh start.
At that time Whitney moved the couple’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, now 16, in with her brother and sister-in-law while she began to repair her life.
Whitney – who divorced Bobby in 2007 – said: “My only concern was my daughter and her perception of her father. But the internet let her know things. She said, ‘No. Divorce him. Let him go.’ “

WOWZA!!!! What a show, it was like a rollercoster, ups & downs, smiles & tears.
First things first, the exclusive performances! First up was Cheryl Cole and her solo debut! ‘Fight for this Love’ is a catchy song, I found myself humming it throughout the show! And to put all her critics wrong, she sung live and boy did she sing…and dance! Costume was good, dance routine was immense and she showed us why she won Popstars:The Rivals and earned her place in the Biggest Girl Group in Britain. Well done Chezza!!!!!! Next up was ‘The-one-and-only’ Whitney Houston, and man was that a strange performance. Arguably the biggest star that has ever graced the X Factor stage, but something was just not right!!! The performance was blighted by her dress, not only did the strap come undone but she had to keep hoiking up her dress like a 30 year old Essex lass at a wedding! I don’t remember the song, maybe because it wasn’t very good, or maybe because I was just to preoccupied with the wardrobe malfunction, wondering whether we are gonna see more of Whitney than we expected. Then, her chat with Dermot….erm…..I thought she had kicked all that stuff??? Seems to me like a theme for the performances on the results show is ‘People who have been hooked on drugs, but supposedly have kicked the habit, but haven’t actually!!’ And is it just me or has she had a lot of plastic surgery??? I don’t mean to be so crytical about such a superstar, but it has to be said!
The group song was much better this week, I didn’t know the song, but it was a song better suited to be sung by a group, and the vocals seemed a lot more tuned!
Then the results, and unfortunately one of my predictions came true. As I mentioned in my review of Saturdays show, there is a danger of John & Edward becoming entertaining, in a John Sergeant type way, and people voting to keep them in. Obviously this happened, and on top of that somehow Miss Frank avoided the bottom two, meaning that two people were in the bottom two that should definately not be there. Rachel gave one of the best performances of last nights show but people are obviously not voting for her, and Ricky was unfortunately given a song that meant he was already coming from behind, that said he made a good job of it. In the end, both of their Survival Songs were great, but Rachel had more of a ‘I really want this’ attitude, reminiscent of Ruth Lorenzo from last year. It is unfortunate and perhaps unfair that Louis wasn’t there, as who is to say who he would have voted for, and I think if it had gone to a dead lock there is a high chance Rachel would have gone. Anyhow Rikki left us, perhaps 3 or 4 shows too soon.
Hewis Request:- Anyone voting for John & Edward, stop now, enough is enough, this is no longer a joke!
Sack the Stylist Week: What with Whitneys Dress and Danni’s hair, someone needs to be given the marching orders!
Next week is Big Band week, with performances from Westlife and Michael Buble. Looking forward to hearing the song choices, as soon as I hear any rumours I will let you know!!

This is from the X-Factor website:
With less than 24 hours until the first live show of the series, we thought excitement levels were close to peaking – after all we already have last year’s X Factor queen Alexandra Burke, and pop colossus, Robbie Williams, confirmed as this week’s star guests…
But then we thought, wait a minute, let’s crank it to the next stratosphere, and bring in a name that sits happily alongside the likes of Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, and Michael Jackson in the legends hall of fame… ladies and gentlemen, Whitney Houston is set to perform on The X Factor!
The global superstar is due to perform her new single during next week’s results show, in what will be her first UK television performance in 12 years… and we’re not the only ones who are over the moon with the news.
Whitney says: “I have always loved my UK fans and I’m thrilled to perform for them on The X Factor. I am also a fan of Simon Cowell and I look forward to meeting him – it should be a fun night.”
A fun night doesn’t even come close; it’s going to be amazing, immense, monumental… well, you get the gist.
Be there or be nowhere, next Sunday 18th October Whitney Houston performs on The X Factor… remember the date.
